The hard part is over! You have been accepted to the University of Evansville for Fall 2015, and now you can enjoy your status as a UE student. So you may be asking yourself "now what?" Below is a check list to help you prepare for your freshman year as a Purple Ace.

Meet other admitted UE Class of 2019 students

Submit new information

New academic information (test scores, grades) may be submitted to the University of Evansville prior to February 16, 2015.

File the 2015-16 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Recommended date of March 1.
To maximize your financial aid package, file your FAFSA and indicate for UE to get the results. This free application can be submitted by visiting fafsa.ed.gov, entering your information, and submitting it with the required pin numbers. UE’s code is 001795. Indiana residents must file the 2015-16 FAFSA prior to March 10, 2015.

Become a Purple Ace – Admission Deposit

Submit your $300 non-refundable admission deposit to secure your spot in the UE Class of 2019.

Register for Student Orientation and Academic Registration (SOAR)

All UE freshmen must attend one of the following SOAR programs. A ley result of this program is course registration. SOAR information packets will start mailing in February 2015 to those students who have committed to the University of Evansville by submitting their admission deposit. Spots are limited in each session, with preference giving to deposit date.

SOAR dates are: June 11-13, 2015 | June 25-27, 2015 | August 20-22, 2015

Final High School Transcript

Prior to leaving your high school, ensure your counselor knows to send your final transcript to UE Office of Admission, 1800 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, Indiana 47722.

Submit Your Health Information Form

Return immunization and health insurance forms to the University of Evansville Health Center when you come to campus for SOAR.

Residence Life

Learn about living with a roommate, the UE dining experience , room sizes, and our residency requirement. Contact your admission counselor if you can’t find what you’re looking for.

Welcome Week and Start Classes

  • Move-in day is Saturday, August 22, 2015.
  • Welcome Week is August 22-25, 2015.
  • Classes begin Wednesday, August 26, 2015.
