Global Assistance Program
Bridging the GAP between the classroom and real world business opportunities, the Global Assistance Program offers valuable benefits to both the business community and our students.
Develop your global mindset for a competitive advantage! Institute sponsored study abroad programs offer students an opportunity to learn about global business practices first hand in multiple locations around the world.
The Institute for Global Enterprise in Indiana is a part of the Schroeder School of Business at the University of Evansville. The institute was created as part of UE's recognition of the value of a global mindset for both students and for regional business professionals.
For students, the institute ensures that students experience international situations, challenges and opportunities that prepare them to contribute and succeed in a global economy. Examples of institute initiatives include the development of international study programs and internships with companies that engage in international commerce.
The institute also serves as an innovative partner to regional business by providing ongoing educational opportunities and an external resource base to companies who want to successfully compete in a worldwide marketplace and environment. Ongoing executive education programs and insightful perspectives offered by internationally focused faculty members are among ways the institute serves participating businesses and industries.
Other programs sponsored by the institute include:
- The Global Assistance Program (GAP) which links UE students with local business to work on real-world global business issues
- The International Speaker Series which brings world renowned business leaders as guest presenters
- Visiting Global Business Fellows
The Institute for Global Enterprise in Indiana is another example of the value University of Evansville places on broadened perspectives through a deeper understanding of the world.
