Honors at UE
"I learned quickly that the Honors Program is more than just benefits like living in Powell Hall, registering first for classes, and getting an extra set of tassels at graduation. It offers me a reason to get up, get going, and do things. Important things."
– Bailey Hansen, UE Honors Program Student
The University of Evansville Honors Program admits bright, talented students who have the desire to excel scholastically in a stimulating academic environment. The Program challenges students to maximize their potential in all areas of study and offers an enhanced curriculum with the opportunity to share ideas and viewpoints with other outstanding students.
The Program attracts students from all majors and fosters independent thinking. Honors students seek a significant challenge from their professors as well as each other, and they serve as catalysts who propel the University’s academic excellence forward.
Participation in the Honors Program provides students with a rewarding college experience both in and out of the classroom. Honors classes are interdisciplinary and are taught across the curriculum. The Program also offers a variety of activities outside the classroom.
