The Department of Archaeology and Art History provides purposeful experiences, including archaeological excavations in the US and abroad, museum internships and study abroad opportunities, that prepare students to be successful in their future careers.

Study Abroad

More than 80 percent of UE archaeology students complete at least one semester of study abroad either at Harlaxton or other programs such as College Year in Athens, the American Institute of Foreign Study (AIFS) in Rome, American University in Cairo, and Aix-en-Provence in France.
