Alumni Volunteer Opportunities
The University of Evansville invites and engages alumni, parents and other friends to become involved in a range of volunteer opportunities. Your insights, influence, experience and other skills help UE fulfill its mission of providing life-transforming educational experiences that prepare students to engage the world as informed, ethical and productive citizens.

Partners in the Evansville Experience (PIEE)

PIEE is a network of UE alumni, parents and other friends who assist in the career services process for current undergraduate students by providing internships, co-op jobs, mentoring and networking opportunities. Become a PIEE member by completing interest form at http://www.evansville.edu/alumni/volunteer/piee.

Student-Alumni Mentoring Program

Through the student-alumni mentoring program, alumni, parents and friends of the University provide students insight into career opportunities, promote student leadership and encourage experiential education involvement. More information and online registration can be found at http://www.evansville.edu/alumni/volunteer/PIEE/mentoring/.

Leading Edge Alumni Guiding UE (LEAGUE)

Leading Edge Alumni (parents and friends) Guiding the University of Evansville is a worldwide network of alumni, parents and friends who assist with student recruitment. LEAGUE volunteers attend college fairs, open houses, and award receptions on behalf of UE and serve as a resource for prospective students and families. Visit http://www.evansville.edu/alumni/volunteer/league.asp and submit your LEAGUE volunteer form.

Download the 2007-2008 LEAGUE Fact Book (380 KB PDF) to learn about LEAGUE and learn information that will assist you when working with prospective students.

Class Agent Program

University of Evansville head agents and class agents assist the Office of Annual Giving by encouraging class participation in the UE Alumni Fund. The primary responsibility of a class agent is to encourage 10 self-selected classmates, through personal contacts, to support the UE Alumni Fund. Contact Robin Greenlee via e-mail at rg43@evansville.edu or call 812-488-2273 for more information.

Reunion Rep Project

Reunions are held each fall for classes in five year intervals. To help make these reunions a success, registered reunion reps contact and encourage classmates and friends to return to campus for Homecoming Reunion Weekend activities. The Reunion Rep Project provides class contact lists and offers UE gift incentives for all participating reunion reps. To register as a reunion rep for your class, visit http://www.evansville.edu/alumni/homecoming/volunteers.asp.

Alumni Volunteer Networks

Alumni volunteer networks bring alumni together throughout the country and world. The frequency and types of activities and events varies in each network area. Networks are established in Indianapolis, Dubois and Spencer counties in Indiana, St. Louis, Nashville, Atlanta, Dallas, and Washington, D.C. You may join one of these groups or start your own network by contacting alumni@evansville.edu.

Parents Association

The Parents Association comprises all parents of current undergraduate UE students. Parents automatically become members when their son or daughter enrolls at UE. The Parents Association offers opportunities for parents from across the country to be active with the University, through LEAGUE and PIEE activities, parent-to-parent outreach and regional University events. To be involved, complete the volunteer interest form, found under the Parents Association link at http://www.evansville.edu/parents/.
