For International Students
Why does a liberal arts and sciences university in the Midwestern United States place such a high value on its international students? The University of Evansville wants to expose all of our students to new ideas and new people and to expand the world view of our community. Inviting qualified students from around the world to study here is one way to accomplish that goal.
Imagine, for example, how enhanced a classroom discussion about environmental standards might be when the students involved are from Denver, Colorado; Caracas, Venezuela; and Manama, Bahrain.
The following offices provide services, activities, and support to International Students throughout their UE experience:
International Student Admission
- Guides international students through the application process.
- Answers questions about issues such as academics, the University community, the city of Evansville, and many more.
- Informs and explains financial policies and scholarship options.
Intensive English Center
- Provides exceptional classroom and cultural experiences designed to lead participants to improve English language skills.
- Offers programs for students of all levels and with a variety of academic goals.
- Offers individual, personalized advising.
International Student Engagement and Services
- Provides on-going cultural orientation and programming for all international students on campus.
- Develops activities, programs, and support for the campus community and local community to engage with our international students.
- Serves as a liaison and provides personal administrative services to assist with a range of processes including meeting visa requirements and course enrollment.
