A rigorous curriculum, taught by our talented faculty, prepares students in UE's Legal Studies program for successful careers in the legal profession.
The rigorous curriculum of the legal studies program, taught by our talented faculty, prepares students for law school or successful careers in the legal profession. Whether a student plans to go directly to law school or begin his or her career directly after graduation, UE’s broad liberal arts-based curriculum provides the skills that law schools and employers are looking for – the ability to write, analyze, and think critically.
Benefits for UE Legal Studies Students
- Internships are available in law offices, courts, judges’ offices at the state and federal levels, and within the trust department at banks. Recently, students have worked for the local member of the British Parliament in Grantham, England, where Harlaxton College is located.
- UE’s chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, a professional law fraternity, helps students form connections with others interested in law.
