UE Music Management Association

The University of Evansville Music Management Association (UEMMA) is a student organization to help promote all aspects of music management. Membership is open to any full-time or part-time music student.

The purpose of the organization is to provide unique opportunities and experiences outside of the classroom in order to enhance and compliment their music management studies. Bi-weekly meetings are held to host guest speakers, discuss upcoming projects, and to plan for professional conference trips.

UEMMA members attend the Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim California. Each year students apply for and receive partial scholarships to attend this international conference associated with the music products industry. Additionally, UEMMA hosts an annual fundraising event each year (Swing Dance Fundraiser) in conjunction with the UE Jazz Ensemble and Friends of UE Music (FUEM). Profits from this fundraiser help to defray expenses for guest speakers and conference attendance.
