Public health graduates who wish to enter the job market directly will find a plethora of opportunities. These opportunities are primarily in public and private organizations. Such examples include state and local health departments, hospital systems, government agencies, health insurance companies, wellness centers, and consulting firms.

Students across the country who completed an undergraduate degree in public health have been successful in their pursuit of advanced degrees in fields including public health, health services administration, physical therapy, law, medicine, and business administration. Approximately 84 percent of alumni of undergraduate public health programs across the US indicate full satisfaction with choosing public health as a profession.
