Panel Discussion on Race Relations in Aftermath of Ferguson

A panel discussion on "Race Relations in the Aftermath of Ferguson" is planned for Thursday, October 23, at 7:00 p.m. in Room 100, Koch Center for Engineering and Science at the University of Evansville. This event is free and open to the public.
The panel will discuss present day racism and interaction between the African American community and the police in light of recent, highly publicized, controversial police shootings of African American men.
Panelists will include UE professor of psychology Margaret Stevenson, UE professor of sociology Timothy O’Brien and UE diversity and equity officer LaNeeca Williams.
This event is being sponsored by two UE student groups, the Psychology Club and the Black Student Union.
