STAR is the University of Evansville's orientation program for transfer students, re-entry students, and non-traditional students. It is held during the summer and also at the beginning of the second semester in January. Each session includes course placement assessments, advising, and registration for classes. Every transfer student must attend STAR. Parents are invited to attend the program if they wish.

The STAR program also provides transfer students with sessions on campus life at the University of Evansville. Transferring to a new institution does not have to be a difficult transition, and this program helps provide some insight into the University community you are joining.
