Biology

The University of Evansville offers both Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees in biology.  The biology program provides the flexibility for each individual to design a curriculum that meets his or her career goals.

Here are five great reasons to major in biology at the University of Evansville:

  • Conduct your own original research project. You can even get it funded through UExplore, Evansville's undergraduate research program.

  • Prepare for graduate school. You can select your area of study from such topics as pre-dentistry, pre-medicine, pre-optometry, and pre-veterinary medicine.

  • Succeed in your post-graduate work. We have an excellent placement rate in graduate schools, and schools report back to us that our students are extremely well prepared.

  • Study in state-of-the-art facilities—Koch Center for Engineering and Science recently made renovations in excess of $19 million.

  • Learn in a hands-on environment. Evansville has faculty research labs, a large greenhouse and animal facilities to support its curriculum.
