Foreign Languages

The Department of Foreign Languages offers an array of programs that are in keeping with the global focus of the University of Evansville.  Many students combine their language major with global business, international studies, psychology, communication, political science, or the health sciences.  These complementary fields provide our graduates with the extra edge they need to succeed in their careers and compete in a global market.

Here are three great reasons to major in foreign languages at the University of Evansville:

  • Choose your area of study. Evansville offers a variety of language courses including French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Japanese, Latin, Russian, and Spanish.

  • Travel the world - study abroad opportunities are available at over 100 universities in 51 countries.

  • Receive an additional scholarship - foreign languages students receive a $500 scholarship for study abroad.
