The following is a list of the University of Evansville’s merit-based scholarships, reserved for scholastic achievement at the highest level, and merit-based awards, which recognize special traits and qualities that students bring to campus. The following awards cannot be combined. Even though you may qualify for more than one, you will be awarded the one of highest value. Academic Scholarship - These awards range in value from $6,500 to $13,500 per year and reward students who have excelled academically in high school. GPA, difficulty of curriculum, and standardized test scores are considered.

Leadership Activity Award - These awards are valued at $6,500 per year. Students who have been actively involved as leaders in high school, community, or church will be considered for one of these awards.

Cultural Diversity Award - These awards range in value from $6,500 to $13,500 per year and are awarded to students who demonstrate a commitment to cultural diversity. This scholarship is available to all students with selection based upon a record of academic achievement, student leadership, and community involvement.

Fine/Performing Arts Scholarship - These awards range in value from $3,000 to $13,500 per year. These scholarships are reserved for students majoring in art, music, or theatre. An audition/portfolio is required for scholarship consideration.

Trustee Scholarship - Awards ranging from 67 percent to full-tuition will be awarded to students who rank first in their high school class at the time of application.

Toyota Scholarship - Students who meet the criteria are eligible to receive a minimum $12,500 per year. Awarded to students admitted to UE's College of Engineering and Computer Science with a high school GPA of 3.6 or higher and score 1730 or higher on the SAT or 25 or higher on the ACT.

American Corporate Scholarship - Students who meet the criteria are eligible to receive a minimum $12,500 per year. Awarded to students admitted to UE's School of Business Administration with a high school GPA of 3.6 or higher and score 1730 or higher on the SAT or 25 or higher on the ACT.

Twenty-first Century Scholar Award - Awarded to Indiana residents who are members of the Twenty-first Century Scholars program.

Dean's Scholarship - Awards ranging from 67 to 75 percent tuition are awarded to students in the top five percent of their class at the time of application. For students whose schools do not rank, candidates must have a high school GPA of 4.0 and score 27 or higher on the ACT or 1800 or higher on the SAT.

University of Evansville Scouting Scholarship - Students who have earned the Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout, Girl Scouts of the USA Gold Award, or Venturing Silver Award and meet the academic criteria for admission to the University of Evansville are eligible for this $13,750 per year scholarship.
