Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Opportunities

Alumni volunteers help with a wide range of activities for students and alumni. The following programs are administered by the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations. For additional information, contact the office at 812-488-2586 or via email: alumni@evansville.edu.

Reunion Rep Project Volunteers

Reunion Reps are needed each year to assist the Alumni staff in promoting the upcoming reunions and inviting friends and other classmates to attend Homecoming Reunion Weekend. Serving in this way gives alumni an excellent opportunity to get in touch with old friends and be updated about UE happenings and planning through out the year. You can volunteer online to become a rep.

Alumni Admission Network - LEAGUE

The Offices of Admission and Alumni Relations work together to utilize more alumni in UE's recruiting efforts. The result is LEAGUE - Leading Edge Alumni Guiding UE. Alumni from across the country assist the Office of Admission with recruiting new students to UE.

To learn about LEAGUE and learn information that will assist you when working with prospective students, download the 2009-2010 LEAGUE Fact Book.

Partners in the Evansville Experience (PIEE)

As a UE alumni, friend, parent or partner employer, you have the opportunity to establish a partnership with the University through support of Career Services programs and initiatives, and by mentoring individual students. We created a program called PIEE - Partners in the Evansville Experience in order to directly connect UE students with you!

Class Agent Program

The mission of the University of Evansville Class Agent Program is to promote networking among classmates, while encouraging them to support the UE Alumni Scholarship Fund. This is a great way to get involved with UE that involves a minimal commitment of your time. For more information, please contact Robin Greenlee, Director of Annual Giving, via email at rg43@evansville.edu or by phone at 812-488-2273.

UE's Volunteer Summit

The UE Volunteer Summit was held in October 2006. The Summit was specifically designed for all LEAGUE, PIEE, Reunion Class, Class Agent, Parents Association and Alumni network volunteers, and members of all the University's governing and advisory Boards.
