Did you visit campus before choosing UE? What did you think about UE after that visit?
I have been on UE’s campus before, but I have never been for an official visit.
Why did you choose to attend UE's PsyD program over other graduate/doctoral programs?
I saw the opportunity to learn and grow with a new program that was in my hometown, which desperately has many needs unmet in the field of mental health. Going to UE, the hope is to build the community and knowledge of mental health as a whole.
What advice would you share with students going through the college search for graduate/doctoral programs?
Choose a program that fits your ideal values and interests moving forward. Many programs seem like good fits for various reasons but knowing that one can learn in an environment that will continue their interest without getting burnout, or bogged down by work can make a monumental difference when attending a program.
Why do you recommend UE?
UE has been extremely welcoming and personable from the start. It helps to be in a new program, but when each person feels as though they are a part of something, especially with a tight-knit group like I have, the experience can be much more favorable than one could imagine.
Hobbies?
I enjoy both playing and watching sports and exercising, in general. I also like to spend time with my friends and family, play video games, and solve puzzles.
