Athletic Training
Class Year: 2024
Hometown: Evansville, Indiana
As someone who was always involved in sports in high school and absolutely loved science, I knew I wanted to find a career that could combine the two. I met my high school athletic trainer during my sophomore year and that was the beginning of my love for the field of Athletic Training. After learning what an athletic trainer was, and working alongside my own as a senior, I knew I wanted to be one. It was the perfect combination of my two favorite things: sports and the medical field. I learned about UE’s Athletic Training Program from my AT and was immediately interested. After visiting the program, hearing about their consistent success, small class sizes, and very kind and supportive staff I was determined to be a part of it. Now, as a junior in the program, I can easily say how incredible it is. I have some of the most amazing and supportive professors, excellent clinical rotations, many hands-on learning opportunities, and more. I have never once regretted my decision to come to UE. This program has not only provided me with an abundance of knowledge for my field, but it has allowed me to grow as a person as well.
