Assuming you visited campus before transferring, please share your visit experience. If you did not visit campus prior to transferring, please share about your first week of class on campus.

During my first visit, I found the campus to be small and the atmosphere to be welcoming.

How did UE support you in your transfer?

UE guided me well in transferring over my existing credits and getting enrolled for the upcoming semester.

What activities or organizations have you been involved with at UE? How have these impacted your college experience?

I was the president of UE Vets, a student veteran organization that UE had during my time as a student. It was a great leadership opportunity and I enjoyed it.

How has your major’s program shaped and prepared you for your future?

My major has prepared me to know how to think about concepts, particularly in both finance and economics. The classes I took at UE have given me an advantage while I am pursuing the rigorous Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Why did you choose UE?

I chose UE because of its size and reputation. I liked the smaller environment and the liberal arts reputation. I also appreciated being able to have a lot of access to professors (even professors I didn't personally take classes with) to help answer my questions.

What do you love about being an Ace?

I like the consideration and reputation afforded to a UE degree.

What are your goals after graduation? If you have already graduated, how has UE helped you to reach your goals? (Both personal and/or professional goals)

Immediately upon graduation, I started a Registered Investment Advisory firm. UE was an instrumental steppingstone in helping me launch my business.

What advice do you have for students considering transferring to UE?

Consider the benefits that UE has over other universities such as more time with professors and the overall benefit of a small campus community that will make it easier to get to know people.
