Jr. TASL Scholars Program

Jr. TASL Scholars Program (formerly SPRINGBOARD) is a year-round program provided by the Center for Inclusive Excellence that focuses on youths 7th-12th grade and strives to equip them with skills crucial to success. The Jr. TASL (Think, Act, Serve, Live) Program is a new youth pilot program to our current TASL Scholars Program cohort program our some of our current UE college students. Jr. TASL Scholars requires parent/child commitment and will run three-weeks in July and have meetings once or twice a month September to April every academic year. Jr. TASL Scholars will focus on:

This program is designed to meet students where they are academically, mentally, emotionally, and economically to move them into the next phase of their futures while also supporting their community through community service.
Jr. TASL Scholars Program fee $300 ($100 a week) that is due in the summer on Thursday before the July session begins. Fee includes lunch and snacks. Payment plans are available and fee must be paid in full by Thursday, July 3, 2025. Additional fees may be required for upcoming Jr. TASL Scholars activities.
Jr. TASL Scholars Program requires parent and student commitment. Parents will be responsible for transportation to and from campus during the summer and academic year. Parents are also required to attend at least two sessions during the academic year (dates and times TBD). Information will be provided at the end of the summer session on what to expect from September to April.
* Please read the Youth Programs, Camps, & Conferences Handbook and Child Protection Policy found under the “Additional Forms” tab PRIOR to registering for programs, camps, and conferences. Please be advised there is a non-refundable $35 registration fee included in the price of each camp.
Our goal is to make our youth programs, camps, and conferences accessible to students regardless of their ability to pay. Thanks to generous funding from Lilly Endowment Inc., we can offer financial assistance to students who demonstrate need. If you are interested in receiving Financial Assistance, please complete the Financial Assistance Request Form BEFORE registering. Please allow up to two business days for your request to be processed. Because demand for assistance is great and funds are limited, we encourage parents/guardians to apply early.
