UE’s MSAT Program Expands Clinical Education Sites Starting in Fall 2025

Posted: Thursday, August 29, 2024

The University of Evansville’s Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) program has added the University of Missouri and Murray State University as a new site for immersive clinical education beginning in the Fall of 2025.

In addition to the University of Missouri and Murray State, UE also has partnerships with other universities and organizations across the nation. Current locations include Kentucky Wesleyan College, Austin Peay State University, University of Florida, Vanderbilt University, Mercy Health Hospital, as well as various other local high schools and universities. Classes can be completed online during a student’s immersive clinical experience so there are no geographic restrictions.

The University of Evansville offers a unique blend of a small school, Division I educational experience, where UE athletic training faculty can provide personalized instruction in smaller group settings. This approach allows athletic training students to benefit from close-knit learning environments while also gaining exposure to the vibrant, high-energy atmosphere of Power Five programs.

“With the opportunity to send our athletic training students to three SEC schools for mentorship and advanced educational development, we truly offer the best of both worlds,” said Jeff Tilly, Director of the Master of Athletic Training Program and Assistant Professor of Athletic Training.
