Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine / Instructor

Position Overview:

The candidate will assist the Sports Medicine staff in care of all student-athletes with primary coverage and travel with a fall and spring sports team. The Assistant AD for Sports Medicine will work with Women's Basketball and possibly a secondary sport as well as oversee the Athletic Training department within UE Athletics. This position also entails instruction for the School of Health Science/Athletic Training program and serving as preceptor for students in the Athletic Training program.

Responsibilities Include:

• Athletic Trainer for the Women's Basketball program or another program. 
• Oversee the Sports Medicine department within Athletics. 
• Serve as a preceptor for students in the Athletic Training program.
• Serve as an instructor in the School of Health Science/Athletic Training Program. 

Qualifications:

• BOC certification for a minimum of 1 year, Indiana Licensure (or eligible)
• Master’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field

Other Information:

This position could work nights/weekends with travel required.
