Assistant Athletic Trainer / Instructor

Position Overview:

This is a dual appointment position working with UE Intercollegiate Athletics and in the School of Health Sciences and Athletic Training Program. The candidate will assist the Associate AD for Sports Medicine and staff in care of all student-athletes with primary coverage and travel with a fall and spring sports team. The Associate AD for Sports Medicine will determine secondary sports coverage.

This position also entails instruction for the School of Health Science/Athletic Training program and serving as preceptor for students in the Athletic Training program.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist the Assistant AD for Sports Medicine in coverage of all UE athletics teams as needed 
  • Travel with an assigned team (Women's Basketball)
  • Attend all practices, games and events of an assigned team (Women's Basketball)

Qualifications:

  • BOC certification for a minimum of 1 year, Indiana Licensure (or eligble)
  • Master’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • Post-graduate experience as a certified athletic trainer in a collegiate setting

Other Information:

Working nights/early mornings and weekends is required. Travel is required.
