Associate Registrar

Position Overview:

This position assists the University Registrar in the regular process of Academic Services and represents the office across campus to faculty, staff and students on best practices of the department.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develops and produces the course catalog and oversees academic scheduling for each semester
  • Ensures adherence of federal and state regulations including FERPA and NCAA.
  • Assists student athletes with degree completion and transcript evaluations for NCAA compliance.
  • Supervises student workers within Academic Services 
  • Coordinates professional development with office staff and student workers
  • Teaches student success strategy courses for new freshman to empower them challenge themselves in their college career
  • Processes all National Student Clearinghouse reports for each term and graduation
  • Manages course registration and ensure pre-requisite requirements are met
  • Advises student in the Student Restoration program
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves student record and registration issues
  • Serves as team member on committee of Colleague users on campus
  • Coordinates with Student Financial Services to remove student barriers
  • Upholds best practice in customer service
  • Advises students and staff of college policy and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Experience in higher education
  • Experience with Colleague
