Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering

Start Date: January 2025

The School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Evansville invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in Civil Engineering.

Teaching Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities include teaching 9-12 contact hours per semester. Applicants with primary specialty areas in geotechnical engineering or transportation engineering are encouraged to apply.  Strong applicants from other civil engineering specialty areas will also be considered for this position. Applicants should be committed to outstanding undergraduate engineering education and expected to teach courses such as introduction to civil engineering, surveying, courses in their specialty area, and other introductory level engineering courses. 

Education/Experience:

B.S. in civil engineering and an earned doctorate (or near completion) in civil engineering.

The Search Committee will begin reviewing applications on September 26 and will continue until the position is filled.
