Harlaxton Representative

Harlaxton College, the overseas study center of the University of Evansville, is seeking a dynamic and organized Harlaxton Representative to assist students and faculty in preparing for their transformative experience at Harlaxton Manor, a Grade I listed estate in the English countryside. Since 1971, Harlaxton College has been a cornerstone in fostering global citizenship for UE students.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Student Support: Serve as a point of contact for University of Evansville students, both in-person and via email, assisting them with the application process and providing guidance on preparing for Harlaxton College. Help with event coordination and orientations.
• Faculty Assistance: Support visiting faculty through their application, orientation, and travel preparation for Harlaxton.
• Harlaxton Ambassador: Represent Harlaxton College at university events like Visit Days, SOAR (Student Orientation and Academic Registration), and local fairs. Speak in classes to promote the Harlaxton experience.
• Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative functions as assigned by the Executive Director to ensure the smooth operation of the program.

 Qualifications:

• Harlaxton Knowledge: Prior involvement with a semester program at Harlaxton College is required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams. Knowledge of the Slate application management system is beneficial, but training can be provided.
• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, "can-do" attitude.
• Professionalism: Punctual and reliable with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
