Cashier, Student Financial Services

The University of Evansville Office of Student Financial Services has an opening for a Cashier to start September 30, 2024. 

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist student, families and campus community by phone, email, and in person
• Process non-AR cash reconciliation and bank deposits 
• Process and direct incoming mail
• Post and reconcile student payments
• Process student refunds and athletic stipends
• Support other cashier team responsibilities
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with university policies and procedures 
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum of high school diploma or GED. Some college preferred. Office experience with both customer service and cashiering responsibilities. Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

The Office of Student Financial Services serves our student and campus community by helping navigate billing and financial aid processes and questions. Cashiers provide daily guidance, including call monitoring and immediate feed-back. They work with other cashier staff to ensure proper responses to complicated issues.
