Administrative Assistant, OTS

The University of Evansville is seeking a full-time OTS Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to the Office of Technology Services (OTS). This role will assist the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and department directors with daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the department.

 Key Responsibilities:

- Administrative Support: Assist the CIO and department directors with tasks including budget management, ordering supplies, and maintaining departmental schedules.

- Help Desk Coverage: Provide phone support for the OTS Help Desk, addressing and closing level one technical tickets as needed.

- Student Worker Scheduling: Coordinate and manage the scheduling of student workers to ensure adequate coverage.

- Purchasing & Budgeting: Support the department in ordering supplies and maintaining department budgets.

 Qualifications:

- Education: High School diploma or GED required.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Communication: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Customer Service: Ability to handle inquiries and assist in solving basic technical issues.
