Visit Coordinator

The University of Evansville invites applications for a full-time Visit Coordinator to join our Office of Admission team. The Visit Coordinator plays a pivotal role in creating exceptional campus visit experiences for prospective students and their families. This individual will manage the scheduling of individual campus visits and appointments while collaborating with campus partners to ensure a seamless and personalized experience. Reporting directly to the Senior Associate Director of Admission for Campus Visits and Events, the Visit Coordinator will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that values teamwork, service excellence, and organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Visit Scheduling and Coordination:

  • Facilitate the scheduling of all individual campus visits and appointments.
  • Work with the campus community to fulfill specific visit requests and arrangements.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively with team members, campus partners, prospective students, families, and student influencers.
  • Maintain a positive and service-oriented attitude in all interactions.

Data Management and Training:

  • Assist in interpreting and managing visit data to improve processes and enhance experiences.
  • Support workflow optimization, develop training manuals, and create materials related to data and visit coordination.

Administrative and Technical Proficiency:

  • Utilize robust software systems, including CRMs and comprehensive information systems, to streamline processes.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe tools for record-keeping and communication.

Social Media Engagement:

  • Actively engage on social media platforms to promote campus visits and foster connections with prospective students.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience, preferably in an administrative, event coordination, or customer service role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to maintain detailed records in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently as a self-starter.
  • Familiarity with the selective college admission process and statistical data interpretation is a plus.
  • Positive phone etiquette and uplifting demeanor.
  • Experience with comprehensive software systems, CRMs, and social media platforms.
  • Ability to perform light lifting, work for extended periods in a sedentary position, and engage in manual dexterity for computer use.
