Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering
The School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Evansville (UE) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Electrical Engineering to begin on August 1, 2025.
Responsibilities
Applicants should be committed to outstanding undergraduate teaching and have excellent communication skills. The successful applicant is expected to teach a broad range of undergraduate electrical engineering courses, including lecture and laboratory-based instruction, advise students, supervise student projects, carry out undergraduate research, contribute to program assessment, curriculum development, accreditation efforts, and provide service to the university, profession, and community. Required Education/Experience
Candidates must have earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field by the time of employment start date. We are looking for a dynamic and student-focused educator committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching with expertise and experience in any specialized areas in electrical engineering. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in areas such as microcontrollers, embedded systems, and/or robotics.
