Residential Meal Plans

2024-25

Three Residential Meal Plans are available to all students:

Students living in residence halls must sign up for one of these plans. Purchases at Chick-fil-A are limited to cash, credit, or Ace Bucks.

Anytime Dining Plans

Our Anytime Dining plans below are our best value plans. They provide unlimited meals in The Eatery and the freedom to stop in anytime for a quick drink or snack. These plans also include an allocation of Ace Bucks for purchases at campus venues of Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Ace's Place, and on-the-go locations.

Anytime Dine - Purple 7

Provides unlimited meals through the semester + $200 Ace Bucks.

The meal credits in this plan combined with 200 Ace Bucks easily cover all meals served in a semester and a smaller number of Ace Bucks for purchases at campus venues of Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Ace's Place, and on-the-go locations.

Continuous dining is available breakfast through dinner in The Eatery. Six guest passes allow students to treat friends and family in this location.

Additional Ace Bucks can be purchased separately through the dining services office and website.

  • Unlimited meals during service hours seven days a week
  • 200 Ace Bucks
  • 6 Guest Passes
  • One carry out and one meal exchange per day (must be during different meal periods)

Anytime Dine - Orange 5

Provides unlimited weekday meals through the semester + $200 Ace Bucks.

Unlimited weekday meals combined with 200 Ace Bucks provide a balance of meals and Ace Bucks for purchases at campus venues of Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Ace's Place, and on-the-go locations. This plan works well for students who eat less on the weekend. Weekend meals can be purchased with Ace Bucks.

Continuous dining is available breakfast through dinner in The Eatery. Four guest passes allow students to treat friends and family in this location.

Additional Ace Bucks can be purchased separately through the dining services office and website.

  • Unlimited meals during service hours five days a week (M-F)
  • 200 Ace Bucks
  • 4 Guest Passes
  • One carry out and one meal exchange per day (must be during different meal periods)

Aces 12

Provides 12 meals a week + $300 Ace Bucks.

Unlike the Anytime plans, the meal credits provided in this plan cover up to 12 meal swipes per week plus an additional $300 in Ace Bucks for purchases at campus venues of Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Ace's Place, and on-the-go locations.

This meal plan has a daily limit of three meal swipes, one carry-out, and one meal exchange. Meals can be accessed any time during breakfast through dinner in The Eatery. Each meal swipe is deducted from the weekly meal card balance. Four guest passes allow students to treat friends and family in this location.

  • 12 meals per week
  • 300 Ace Bucks
  • 4 Guest Passes
  • Daily limit of three meal swipes per day
  • One carry out and one meal exchange per day (must be during different meal periods)

Other Plans

The Aces 7 Plan

This is an optional reduced plan for commuters, students living in Villages or Greek Housing, and seniors living in residence halls.

The Aces 7 features seven meal swipes per week in The Eatery plus $200 Ace Bucks.

This is our best value Meal and Ace Buck combo plan for commuters, students living in Village or Greek Housing, and seniors who live in residence halls.

Students living in Greek Housing who entered the University in Fall 2022 and thereafter will be assigned and billed for the Aces 7 meal plan but are welcome to choose a larger plan. Meal plan adjustments must take place during posted meal plan change periods.

  • Seven meal swipes per week
  • Dine-in or carry out
  • 200 Ace Bucks
  • No meal exchange

Ace Bucks

Pricing for Ace Bucks vary depending on plans and increments purchased.

Transferability
Ace Bucks purchased within one academic year do not carry over into the next academic year. Unused Ace Bucks from Fall Semester carry over to Spring semester for continuing students attending class on our home campus.

Ace Bucks from the Student Services Fee
All full-time students who have paid the Student Services Fee start out with $50 in Ace Bucks. After the initial $50 are used, Ace Bucks that are part of the dining plan are displayed on the student’s dining account.

Additional Ace Bucks – Added on when you select your plan
You can add an extra Ace Bucks when you sign up for your meal plan at the reduced rate. Just click the box for these additional Ace Bucks when you sign up for your plan.

  • $150 Ace Bucks for only $135
  • $300 Ace Bucks for only $255

Additional Ace Bucks – Added on during the course of the year
Students can add increments of Ace Bucks to their dining account at any time during the year. This is available for any student and is supplemental to any Residential Meal Plan or the Aces 7. This should be added in academic year when it will be used.

Ace Buck Packages – Commuters and students living in Village or Greek Housing
These are optional for commuter students and Students living in Village or Greek Housing. You can access these plans starting June 1 on the Chartwells UE Dining Website under the “Ace Buck Packages” tab.

  • 300 Ace Bucks for $240
  • 200 Ace Bucks for $160
  • 100 Ace Bucks for $80

(Be sure to wait until after June 1 to purchase these Ace Buck packages for the upcoming academic year)

Note: Meal Plans are not in operation during Fall Break, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, Spring Break, or Easter Break. Students staying on campus during a break should plan ahead and obtain food from Ace's Place with their Ace Bucks to prepare during this time.
