Making the Most Of Your Invidiual Visit

Margaret Stevenson, Assistant Professor of Psychology, offers suggestions for making the most of your visit.

Individual Visits

The University of Evansville Office of Admission encourages an individual campus visit whenever possible, and we will work with you to meet your requests. We can also make arrangements for you to spend the night in one of our residence halls hosted by a UE student (high school seniors only) from September through April - excluding holidays.

During your campus visit we encourage you to take an active role in your career decision-making process through our Career Advantage Program. Visitors to campus may take our career assessment, meet with a career advising professional, and develop a career exploration action plan. The advising session takes approximately 50 minutes. Career advising appointments are made Monday — Friday. (Students who select to meet with a Career Advisor must complete the Do What You Are assessment.)

Individual visit hours are:

  • Monday-Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Campus tours begin every hour, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
  • Saturday: 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Arrive at 9:30 a.m. The visit includes a group admission session, campus tour, and lunch (during the academic year). Transfer students, please call the Office of Admission before scheduling a Saturday visit at 800-423-8633, ext. 2468
  • Sunday: Closed

So that University representatives are able to personalize your individual visit, when scheduling your visit online, please register at least two business days prior to your campus visit. If you would like to schedule your visit for an earlier date, contact the Office of Admission at 800-423-8633, ext. 2468.
