Harlaxton Trip

Revisit Harlaxton or Visit For the First Time

The Harlaxton Society offers a trip to Harlaxton every summer in late July.

Harlaxton Alumni Trip

The 2014 Harlaxton Alumni Trip has been cancelled, but dates have been set for the 2015 Harlaxton Alumni Trip. It is scheduled for Monday, July 27 – Monday, August 2, 2015. The structure of the trip will be similar to what’s listed below. And the cost will remain the same!

The Harlaxton Society and the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations offer you an opportunity to relive your Harlaxton Experience or to capture those memories for the first time. The trip is open to all UE and Harlaxton alumni and their family members/guests. The package includes a seven-night stay at Harlaxton Manor, educational sessions, day trips to places of interest in the surrounding area and other special events.

All travelers will be housed in the manor or carriage house, where no two rooms are alike. And in true European style, they do not include bathrooms. Student rooms are furnished modestly with single beds, desks, armoire, and chairs. Each room has a hand basin and shared bathroom facilities in the corridor. For the most part rooms are spacious and comfortable; students live in them for an entire semester. Travelers will not be sharing a room with a stranger. A limited number of guest rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis. These are located on the Blue Corridor and have nicer furnishings and generally a great view. Only a few of these are equipped with a bathroom (ensuite). The availability of these rooms cannot be confirmed until March 2015.

$1,100 per person includes accommodations in student rooms; all meals at the manor; transportation, guide fees, and packed lunches on day trips; and special events. It does not include travel to and from England and Harlaxton Manor.

$1,300 (double occupancy) & $1,500 (single) per person pays for accommodations in a guest room and all other items listed above.

$1,500 (double occupancy) & $1,700 (single) per person pays for accommodations in an ensuite guest room (with bathroom) and all other items listed above.

The registration fee does include a gift to the Harlaxton Society Scholarship fund which helps UE students studying at Harlaxton. The gift portion of your fee is tax deductible.

Deposits will be taken beginning in the fall of 2015. Watch for more information. Add your name to the trip interest list by emailing
