Goals

• Support and conduct research that is community-engaged, capitalizes upon the liberal arts, and is attractive to extramural funding organizations, philanthropic entities, and donors.
• Facilitate practice-based opportunities for students that complement their academic preparation and expand their development of competencies related to inter-professional health education and practice.
• Expand opportunities for faculty and students to engage in mutually-beneficial research and service experiences with community-based health and social service organizations.
• Serve as a reputable community-facing entity that provides workforce development and continuing education for the local public health workforce.
