Assistant Professor of Biology

Assistant Professor of Biology: The Biology Department at the University of Evansville
invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position in cellular and molecular
biology, or a closely related field. The position will be at the rank of assistant professor
and may be renewed indefinitely. Expected teaching duties include the introductory
course in molecular and cellular biology, and possible offerings in genetics,
microbiology, genomics, and/or the applicant’s area of expertise. The successful
candidate will have access to shared research facilities and equipment. Candidates are
expected to have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. A completed Ph.D.
in biology or a related field is preferred.
