Why did you choose to attend UE?

UE is close to home which played a huge role in choosing to come here. After my visit, I knew I could be very happy on this campus. Everyone was so welcome and reassuring that UE is a great place to earn your degree. I also loved that I could one day study abroad!

What activities or organizations have you been/were you involved with at UE? How have these impacted you and your college career?

I worked on campus in Reslife and The Center for Student Engagement up in The Student Center. I am currently interning for the UE Marketing Department. I also am a part of the Student Activities Board and have worked on some of the larger events on campus such as Winter on Walnut and Purple Palooza. Being involved on campus has allowed me to be aware of upcoming events and build connections!

What makes UE a special place? How did our campus shape your college experience?

There are so many things that make UE a special place. The professors have crafted my amazing experience. In the business school, I have encountered such endearing and caring professors who care about you and not just your work. They want you to succeed and will go too far lengths to ensure you do so. They root for you and guide you for your future.

What advice would you share with incoming students?

Don't be overwhelmed if you aren't sure exactly what your path is here. When I was a freshman, I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to do and was stressed I was behind. As a junior, I feel more secure in my future and working towards it. As you grow and learn more about yourself during your time here, you will be able to answer those questions for yourself. No one's timeline is identical, and you aren't behind if you still wonder who you want to be.

Why do you recommend the University of Evansville?

There are so many organizations on campus for anyone. We have a great staff here as well. Everyone is very welcoming and kind and will help you succeed in your time here.

How has UE been affordable for you?

I was awarded very nice scholarships as well as the opportunity to work on campus with very flexible hours.

Did you visit UE before deciding to attend?

Yes! I immediately love the campus and the environment. I knew I could be very happy here. My tour guide was very informative and answered all my questions and made me feel as if I was already a student here!

Do you have anything else to share about your UE experience?

I made so many great connections, friends, and memories at UE, and am so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community! I am looking forward to the future!
