Alexa Ferguson serves as Director of the Center for Inclusive Excellence. Alexa received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern Indiana and a Master of School Counseling from Oakland City University. Alexa previously worked for the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation as an educator and academic counselor. Alexa brings a strong background in project management, team collaboration and organization to her role.

Dr. Shelby serves as the Chief Diversity Officer at the University of Evansville. He earned his PhD from the University of Louisville in applied sociology. As a former assistant professor of sociology, he taught several core courses, including Race and Ethnic Relations and Community Organization. In the Center for Inclusive Excellence, he provides intercultural training and cultural events, addresses concerns related to sexual harassment, discrimination, and bias, and fosters spiritual formation and vocational understanding.
