Regions: Uzbekistan and international university partnerships

I grew up in Indiana, graduating from high school in Fort Wayne. Since then I’ve lived and worked in Indiana, Oklahoma, Bulgaria, Moldova, and Georgia on the Black Sea. In these places I taught in schools and universities from grade 6 up to graduate courses. I am active in Scouting in with both American and Georgian scouts, and I sing with a Georgian folklore ensemble in my town. My travels have taken me to many countries, but I always kept an eye on the great State of Indiana. With UE, I was able to join my love of education and my personal passion for helping students all over the world obtain a top-rate education. I am pleased that now I assist people from all over the world to come to Evansville and embark on their own life’s adventure.

I am a through and through coastal girl, growing up in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. My favorite part about working with students in the college search process is helping them to navigate seemingly uncharted waters. Choosing a university or educational path can feel very overwhelming! I love developing relationships with students to facilitate smooth transitions into new, exciting seasons in their lives! I have navigated many life changes in my higher education journey, so I know what it’s like to be a first-time freshman, transfer student, and non-traditional student. During my studies, I desperately wanted to feel at home at my university. That feeling propelled me into my career as an Admission Counselor. Helping students feel confident they are exactly where they are supposed to be is the best part of my job! I am honored to help Evansville feel like home for so many of our students.
