The Army ROTC enables students to enroll in elective leadership and military courses in addition to their required courses. ROTC provides development of skills in hands-on leadership, management, teamwork, decision making, and effective communication. Students are eligible for up to full tuition, merit based scholarships, and other financial assistance through the US Army. Additional scholarship opportunities are available through UE.

The Wabash Battalion’s operational base is Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Other Wabash Battalion members including the University of Evansville are DePauw University, Indiana State University, St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, University of Southern Indiana, and Vincennes University.
