Introduction

The Baccalaureate to Doctor of Medicine (B/MD) program is a partnership between the University of Evansville and the Indiana University School of Medicine-Evansville. UE is the first private university in Indiana to establish a partnership with the Indiana University School of Medicine.

The B/MD program was created to increase the number of physicians in the southwestern and southern Indiana region, as well as increase opportunities for Indiana residents to obtain training through the IU School of Medicine. Students who are enrolled in the B/MD program will receive a high-quality education rooted in liberal arts and science, critical academic and career advising, MCAT preparation, medical enrichment experiences, undergraduate research experiences, and more. Ultimately, students will graduate feeling prepared for medical school and a future in medicine.

Admission to this program is highly competitive with approximately eight students accepted annually. Additionally, the B/MD program is open only to students who are residents of Indiana.

Because this is a competitive and rigorous program, accepted students will receive a strong merit scholarship of $32,000 per year to assist with the completion of your bachelor's degree as well as provisional admission to the IU School of Medicine-Evansville.
