University of Southern Indiana students are eligible to apply for direct entry (DE) admission after completing the sophomore year or four full-time semesters. At the time of application, you must hold a 3.5 cumulative GPA and 3.35 science prerequisite GPA, and complete 20 observation hours. Students will submit the DE application and transcripts and conduct an interview with a PT faculty member as part of the DE admission process.

To matriculate into the UE DPT program, you must complete all of the Direct Entry requirements.
