About the Program

The OVW Campus Grant Program is part of the University’s ongoing commitment to combat domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking through comprehensive education, resources, and support systems. This initiative is designed to empower our campus community to be proactive in preventing violence and to provide vital resources for those affected by it.

  • Purpose: To reduce incidents of gender-based violence and support survivors by providing educational programming, support services, and policy improvements.
  • Funding: This program is funded by a $400,000 grant from the Office on Violence Against Women, providing the University with the opportunity to enhance and expand campus resources and initiatives.
  • Eligibility: Open to all members of the campus community, including students, faculty, staff, and local community partners.
  • Upcoming Programs: Our newly implemented programs will offer survivor support services, prevention campaigns, and educational workshops across campus. Services are tentatively scheduled to begin Spring 2026.
